The following is a small list of frequently asked questions we often face from our clients:
Q1. Do you have more properties that are not featured on your website.
A:We don't feature all our avilable properties on the website, on average we have more than three times the number. We also have new properties arriving every week.
Q2. Is the price quoted, the final price?
A. Buyers must pay an additional 2% commission and various fees for Lawyers, the Tax authorities and the Greek Land registry. The total additional charge usually amount to 6-9% of the actual value quoted. More infomation can be found in legal fees.
Q3. How does the buying process work?
A. The sale of property can be completed relatively quickly (1-2 weeks). After choosing a suitable property, we arrange a meeting with the seller, after paying a deposit (usually 10%) your lawyer begins the searches. A date is then set for the signing of the final contract where the balance is paid. After this point you legally own the property.
Q4. Do you recommend lawyers?
A. It is most advantageous to use a local lawyer who understands the process in Halkidiki but more importantly knows personally the local tax and legal officials. we have a list of registered lawyers speaking a range of languages.
